Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation seeks a Software Engineer III – Aftermarket Support to maintain and enhance software solutions deployed at customer sites. You will work closely with customers, field service teams, and product development to resolve complex issues and implement improvements.

You will follow coding standards, support mission‑critical systems, and mentor junior engineers while traveling to customer sites as needed (up to 15%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Experience supporting production software applications in customer environments.
• Experience within the Automated Material Handling, Warehouse Automation, Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation industries preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for deployed warehouse automation and material handling software systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues in production environments.
• Analyze customer‑reported problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
• Develop software enhancements, patches, and maintenance releases for existing applications.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing, and validation throughout the software maintenance lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Controls Engineers, Field Service Engineers, Project Engineers, and Customer Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support software upgrades, system migrations, and customer change requests.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to increase system reliability and efficiency.
• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting procedures, and software changes.
• Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support activities as required.
• Mentor junior software engineers and provide technical guidance on support‑related activities.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 15%).
