Job description

Senior Software Developer .NET at WSFS Bank responsible for complex analysis, design, development, code review, and unit testing of custom software applications, process automation solutions, and detailed technical design documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop modular and reusable code components following best practices and standards.
• Interact with users to understand business requirements/process flows and translate them into technical requirements for assigned projects and job requests.
• Collaborate with leads, other developers, project managers, customers, database and system administrators for end-to-end application development and implementation.
• Participate in design and code review sessions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of software applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience with software development methodologies and implementation of Windows applications utilizing Microsoft .NET technology stack.
• Strong hands‑on experience with reporting tools such as Microsoft SSRS.
• Strong experience with SQL database design and development, including writing stored procedures and SSIS packages.
• Experience in the banking and/or financial services industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to successfully deliver high‑quality, complex systems using software development methods independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and generate practical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to a non‑technical audience.

Salary

Salary Range: $75,502.00 – $124,039.00 (individual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, education, location, and other business factors). WSFS may offer discretionary and formula‑based incentive and retention awards.
