Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking an experienced .NET/React Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and services. You will work across the full stack using ASP.NET/C#, EF, SQL Server on the back end and React with TypeScript/JavaScript on the front end.

You will collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and other engineers to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with full stack web development.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET (MVC and/or Web API), C#, and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and ORMs.
• Strong SQL Server skills including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with .NET languages and technologies (C#, ADO.NET, EF).
• Experience with design/architectural patterns including DI, layered architecture, and SOLID.
• Familiarity with REST/RPC APIs and integration best practices.
• Strong front-end experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience building responsive, accessible UI components.
• Git/GitLab version control and PR workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in Agile/Scrum.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web apps and APIs using ASP.NET, C#, EF, and SQL Server.
• Develop rich front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design and implement front-end and back-end components with cohesive user experiences.
• Apply software design and architectural patterns to build scalable solutions.
• Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs and integration methods.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across the stack.
• Write clean, testable code following standards and guidelines.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing; support automated tests.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance bottlenecks across the stack.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, QA, and other developers on new features.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices.
• Stay current with .NET, React, and cloud-native development; suggest adoption.
• Other duties as assigned.
