Job summary

Capgemini in Chicago is hiring a Software Engineer - Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services. You will mentor juniors, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure code quality across the SDLC.

The role requires strong frontend and backend expertise (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, .NET Core, REST, SQL Server) and experience with Azure. Hybrid work in Chicago supports collaboration and delivery of high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in web and back-end development across SDLC
• Proficiency in front-end stack (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON)
• Back-end proficiency with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, LINQ
• Strong understanding of deployment on IIS and production environments
• Experience with Azure services and cloud-based development is desirable
• Familiarity with code reviews and mentoring junior engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of web applications and backend services

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
