JPMorganChase in Irvine is seeking a Lead Software Engineer .Net to drive end-to-end delivery of scalable financial applications. You will lead a team of engineers, design robust solutions, and partner with product to shape the roadmap while ensuring secure coding and high performance.

You will apply AI-assisted tooling, mentor engineers, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards across SDLC, CI/CD, and resiliency.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• 4+ years of experience directly managing or leading a team of engineers, including technical direction, workload allocation and performance development.
• Hands-on experience in .NET/C# and SQL development.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects with product collaboration.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers products and solutions end-to-end, from requirements definition through launch.
• Manages and leads a team of multiple engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance guidance.
• Owns the design of robust, scalable, and resilient solutions that meet current and anticipated business needs.
• Partners closely with Product to define scope, prioritize features, and shape the roadmap.
• Partners closely with engineers to translate defined features into implemented, production-ready capabilities.
• Leverages AI agents and AI-assisted tooling to break down and solve complex technical problems, accelerating development and troubleshooting beyond conventional approaches
• Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
