The remote position expects 4+ years of professional experience, with strong ASP.NET MVC, Web API, EF, and cloud proficiency (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years of professional software development experience focusing on C# and the .NET framework.
• Proven experience as Lead Developer or similar senior technical role.
• Extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Hands-on with frontend tech (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, React, etc.).
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban), CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
• Advanced C# and .NET Core skills; database design and data modeling.
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• DevOps practices including CI/CD; Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability; good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using the .NET framework.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient C# code for applications.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of software systems.
• Implement best practices, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical direction.
• Shape technical architecture and align with project goals and client needs.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to define requirements.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD and deployment optimization.
• Own software projects from inception to production deployment; ensure timely milestones and risk management.
• Stay aligned with client objectives to meet or exceed expectations.
