Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior software engineer to lead a team delivering microservices and RESTful APIs using .NET Core and ASP.NET. You will mentor up to 12 developers, coordinate multiple workstreams in an Agile environment, and ensure quality through DevOps practices and automated testing.

Responsibilities include designing scalable database schemas, integrating platforms, and maintaining SDLC artifacts while aligning with delivery priorities and timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' software engineering experience with frontend technologies including .NET Core MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience building microservices and SOA with .NET Core and ASP.NET and understanding of microservices patterns.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs across distributed systems and enterprise environments.
• Experience mentoring development teams and coordinating multiple workstreams in Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of up to 12 developers, coordinating delivery timelines.
• Track billing hours and maintain project financials across engagement lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into user stories with technical sizing estimates and delivery priorities.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using .NET Core MVC and front-end tech.
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs across systems.
• Maintain SDLC artifacts and ensure repository hygiene and quality standards.
• Support UAT testing cycles and resolve defects to protect release timelines.
• Champion CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling adoption for automation.
