Job summary

Best Lawyers is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to advance our Microsoft Windows‑based technology stack. The role is remote across the United States (CO, GA, FL, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX & VA) with standard hours 9am–5pm EST.

You will build and support large‑scale .NET websites, mentor peers, and collaborate with distributed teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of .NET development, strong architectural and design pattern knowledge, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of Development using .NET technologies.
• Experience with Windows Azure Environments.
• Experience with both server side and client-side caching.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and ability to deliver projects to conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software engineering best practices and design principles.
• Collaborate with local and remote teams.
• Provide mentorship for junior developers.
• Create and maintain large scale .Net websites and microsites.
• Integrate designs and .Net back-end functionality.
• Architect, program, troubleshoot, and support websites and related applications.
• Use Microsoft SQL Server and Elastic Search effectively.
• Translate designs into functioning web pages per best practices.
• Provide on-going production support as needed.
• Contribute to product development via suggestions on new services and technologies.
