Job summary

Virtusa in Irving, Texas is seeking an experienced software engineer with 6–10 years of professional development to join a fast-paced team. You will be delivering robust C# and .NET Core applications, building ASP.NET Core Web APIs, and optimizing SQL Server queries in a DevOps-enabled environment.

Qualifications

6–10 years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
Strong experience developing ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services.
Good knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
Strong experience with MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with Git and source-code management tools.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
