Job summary

Starr Insurance in Atlanta seeks a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native business applications across the full software lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in .NET/C#, Angular, Azure, SQL Server, and enterprise architecture, mentoring peers and collaborating with product owners, QA, DevOps, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Experience with API design, EF Core, secure coding, testing, and CI/CD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise applications using recent versions of .NET and C#.
• Experience creating ASP.NET Core Web APIs and background services.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC and claims-based authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications using .NET, C#, Angular, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, integration layers, and user-facing Angular applications.
• Apply secure coding practices, authentication and authorization patterns, and enterprise security standards throughout the application stack.
• Design efficient data models, database schemas, queries, and performance-tuning strategies for SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application code, database performance, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and deployment processes.
