Job summary

Jefferies is seeking a senior C#/SQL developer for its Global Equities Prime Services Backoffice technology team. You'll contribute to trade processing, P/L and real-time systems in a fast-moving environment from New York.

The role blends 30% support and 70% development, requiring strong communication with clients and internal teams to deliver robust backoffice solutions for global trades.

Qualifications

• 10+ years programming experience required.
• 5+ years in financial industry preferred.
• Experience with Trade Risk and Client vs Firm Risk.
• Experience with Trading or Order Management Systems.
• Solid SQL and C# development for backoffice systems.
• Strong OO programming and design pattern knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the global Backoffice system for the Prime Services Swaps Desk.
• Build regions and product types for the Swaps platform.
• Provide day-to-day support of applications and trading desks.
• Communicate directly with Swaps, Operations, middle office, and tech teams.
