Job summary

Build Technology Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing delivery team. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise business applications built on the Microsoft technology stack.

You’ll work closely with project managers, business analysts, fellow software engineers, and customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications using C# and .NET.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services supporting enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
• Troubleshoot application issues and identify root causes across both application and database layers.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution planning.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following established development standards.
• Produce technical documentation, including design notes, deployment documentation, and implementation details.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in software quality, development processes, and engineering standards.
