Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking a talented .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for the logistics space, joining a collaborative team in Warren, MI.

You will work through the SDLC, build RESTful APIs, contribute to microservices, and implement DevOps practices with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. The role is fully onsite with Monday–Friday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in .NET development.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET versions (6/7/8/9/10).
• Strong experience with SQL databases and ORMs (EF Core, Dapper).
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure preferred) and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Git.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with emphasis on testability and edge-case handling.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and other integration services (GraphQL, gRPC).
• Contribute to system and service architecture discussions including microservices and event-driven design.
• Apply DevOps practices with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in debugging, monitoring, and observability efforts and incident response.
