Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Web API. You will join the ADM team and partner with technology, delivery, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.

The role is hybrid, primarily remote within the United States (Charlotte, NC area). 5+ years of backend experience and strong REST API skills are required, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Hands-on experience building and integrating REST APIs and working with SQL Server.
• Experience using Git and applying unit testing practices.
• Exposure to microservices and cloud platforms.
• DevOps awareness and production support experience.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• Awareness of DevOps practices and experience supporting production applications.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Salary And Compensation

The annual salary for this position will be between $55,000 to $92,500 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
