Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a Senior Dot Net Developer to lead design, development, and testing of .NET applications in the insurance domain from their New Jersey location. The role involves mentoring juniors, coordinating offshore-onshore work, and supporting SIT/UAT deployments and production fixes.

Responsibilities include triaging production defects, participating in sprint ceremonies, and ensuring smooth release deployments, often planned on weekends.

Qualifications

• The senior developer will be responsible for design, development, unit testing, code review, deployment to SIT and UAT environment, test support and defect fixes.
• The senior developer will mentor junior developers.
• Work at offshore in agile methodology with offshore-onshore model.
• Provide development support during any application outage, including production issue fix.
• Provide support during release deployment (usually once a month). Usually, deployment is planned on weekends.
• Attend regular sprint ceremonies like daily standups, sprint planning etc.
• Triaging production defects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test .NET applications in insurance domain.
• Mentor junior developers and support offshore-onshore collaboration.
• Participate in deployments to SIT/UAT and production environments.
• Respond to outages and production defects with timely fixes.
• Contribute to release planning and post-release support.
