Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Senior .NET Developer (Fintech) to build and maintain backend services for payments and the back office. You will design and implement microservices, integrate with Azure, Docker, AKS, and NoSQL databases, and ensure reliability and performance targets.

You will also work with AI tools to generate and validate code, add tests, and improve systems. A strong emphasis on ownership, clear communication, and high-quality delivery is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB.
• Experience delivering tasks with AI tools or agents and explaining code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for payments and back office.
• Build resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows (idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas).
• Meet performance targets (p95/p99 latency) and set up monitoring/alerts.
• Deliver tasks with AI agents, validate code, write tests, fix defects.

Senior .NET Developer (Fintech)

Your main tasks will be:

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and the back office: reconciliation, payouts, fee calculation, settlements and the B2B client dashboard;
• Build resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows (idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas, retries, deduplication);
• Meet performance and reliability targets (p95/p99 latency, SLA/SLO), set up monitoring and alerting;
• Deliver tasks with AI agents, validate the generated code, add tests and fix defects;
• Review code, keep specifications up to date and share knowledge with the team.

We expect from you:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core;
• Experience designing microservices;
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB and Cosmos DB;
• Real experience delivering tasks with AI tools or agents from task definition to a working result. You understand every line you ship and can explain it;
• Clean, maintainable code with tests;
• Ownership of results and open communication when something goes wrong;

Nice to have:
