Job summary

IMAGINEEER LLC is seeking a .NET Developer to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications supporting federal missions. You will work across full-stack development with C#, ASP.NET Core, React, and SQL Server in Azure, contributing to secure, scalable solutions.

The role includes building RESTful APIs, migrating legacy code to .NET 6/8+, and contributing to CI/CD in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. A hybrid on-site schedule in the DC area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience may substitute
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development and operations
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, EF, and React
• Experience building RESTful APIs and SQL Server
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust
• On-site in the Washington, DC metro area with a hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web apps using C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern front-end frameworks
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices on Azure
• Migrate legacy .NET Framework code to modern .NET versions
• Design data access with EF Core and SQL Server
• Write tests and perform code reviews to ensure quality
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Apply secure coding practices per OWASP, NIST, and agency standards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and estimate work
• Troubleshoot production issues and document designs
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and government stakeholders
