Job summary

Superdrug Stores Plc in the UK is seeking a mid-level .NET Developer to join our expanding IT team at Head Office. You will own features end-to-end across APIs, backend, and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions.

The role emphasizes design, code quality, performance, security and CI/CD practices in a small, agile team. Hybrid working with East Croydon office and remote days is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years' experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in the .NET stack (C#, APIs, backend development) and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable .NET applications and APIs.
• Take end-to-end ownership across the full stack from APIs to databases and cloud infra.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and shape requirements.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of applications.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain clear technical documentation (architecture, APIs).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
