Job summary

Zillion Technologies, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Senior .NET Developer with Azure cloud expertise to support enterprise apps, cloud modernization, and platform enhancements.

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET, and Azure services such as App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage, and Key Vault. This remote, 12-month engagement requires strong SQL Server, EF, and Azure DevOps CI/CD

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, and ASP.NET.
• Strong hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure services including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Experience developing and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, authentication/authorization, and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications and services using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Azure.

• Design and implement solutions utilizing Azure services such as App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage, and Key Vault.
• Participate in application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework for data access and persistence.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Implement secure application development practices, including OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and release activities.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot application, integration, and cloud issues.
• Perform application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.

Position Title: Senior .NET Developer – Azure Cloud Development

Duration: 12 Months, with potential extension based on business needs

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Senior .NET Developers with strong Microsoft Azure cloud development expertise to support enterprise application development, cloud modernization, system integrations, and ongoing platform enhancements.

The selected resources will augment the existing technology team and help accelerate the delivery of strategic initiatives, modernize applications using Azure cloud technologies, and ensure timely execution of business-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications and services using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, authentication/authorization, and secure application development practices.
• Experience with application modernization and cloud-based architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across product, architecture, and engineering teams.

Compensation: 65-75/hr on w2 plus benefits. This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
