Job summary

1872 Consulting seeks a Senior .NET Developer in Chicago, IL. The role is hybrid, with on-site 2-3 days per week and fully in-office during the first 90 days. You will design, develop, and support software on the company’s flagship product, collaborating with Product and QA to deliver innovative features.

You will mentor junior developers, participate in Agile sprints, and ensure high coding standards while staying current with new technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of fullstack .NET development.
• Proficient with C#, SQL Server and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and ORM (Entity, Dapper).
• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have Azure cloud experience and familiarity with NuGet, Confluence, or Jira.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of fullstack .NET development
  • Proficient with C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and writing SQL queries
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and ORM (Entity, Dapper, etc.)
• Experience with object-oriented design, architecting software solutions, and data models
• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to have:

• Any previous cloud experience, preferably with Azure
• Experience with NuGet Package Manager, Confluence, or JIRA
