Job summary

State of Michigan – Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) seeks a Programmer Analyst 6 to support MDHHS applications. The role combines development and analysis, focusing on .NET/C#, REST/Web APIs, and SQL within an Agile team.

Expect heavy collaboration, code reviews, and unit testing to ensure robust, scalable solutions. The contractor will work on maintenance and enhancements for a range of health services apps, leveraging modern web technologies and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of .NET CORE 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C# experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing with REST web service interfaces or Web APIs.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL including writing and maintaining complex statements.
• 3+ years of experience with developing code for uploading documents from a website.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile / SCRUM.
• 5+ years of experience working with GIT code repository software.
• 5+ years of experience developing unit and regression tests.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MS-based applications for MDHHS.
• Provide maintenance and support for a variety of MDHHS applications as a contractor/analyst.
• Collaborate in Sprint Development teams following Agile practices.
