McKnight International is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to support the enhancement and modernization of a mission-critical financial system. This backend‑heavy role requires hands-on development in C# and .NET Core, with building, optimizing, and maintaining SQL Server‑driven processes that underpin financial operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong backend focus.
• Strong, recent experience with C# and .NET Core (last 1–2 roles).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience in enterprise or financial systems environments.
• Experience with microservices architecture (preferred).
• Experience working in Azure environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET Core
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs across internal and external systems
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including stored procedures
• Support deployments, troubleshooting, and production stability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Translate business requirements into scalable backend solutions
