Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior .NET Backend Engineer to design, build, and support scalable backend services in Azure. You will lead architecture through production support, owning complex technical challenges in large-scale cloud environments.

The role emphasizes building microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven patterns, with strong focus on security, observability, and performance. On-site collaboration is required several days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Six to eight years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and .NET 8/10+ on Azure
• Experience building cloud-native backend services and microservices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support backend applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NET 8+ on Microsoft Azure.
• Build scalable microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Develop cloud-native integrations using Azure Service Bus, Functions, API Management, Storage, and Azure SQL.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker and AKS.
• Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
