Job summary

Tyler Technologies in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build our Civil Process platform. The role focuses on backend development with C# and .NET, with opportunities to contribute to the Angular front end and to build scalable services in AWS.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, product stakeholders, and designers to deliver secure, reliable software.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and building APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Understanding of software design principles, automated testing, and secure development practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint-based CJIS background check.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native application services using C# and .NET.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations.
• Contribute to Angular and TypeScript development based on needs.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Participate in architectural and technical design decisions for performance and security.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application and production issues.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and observability practices.
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with peers.
• Collaborate to plan work, manage trade-offs, and deliver customer outcomes.
• Stay current with technologies and recommend value-added improvements.
