Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on Microsoft .NET and Azure. You will join a globally distributed team delivering cloud and AI-enabled workflows for financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on software development with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API, EF Core, and LINQ.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.
• Extensive SQL Server experience including T‑SQL, procedures, functions, and tuning.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficient in Git, GitHub, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of application security practices (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD).
• Experience with production monitoring (Application Insights, Azure Monitor) and Jira/Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable .NET applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop and manage Azure-based cloud solutions and services.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases and queries.
• Migrate legacy .NET Framework apps to .NET Core/.NET 8+.
• Provide production support and incident resolution within SLAs.
• Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID and patterns.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and code reviews in GitHub.
• Collaborate with US-based stakeholders in Agile/Scrum sprints.
• Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy of financial data.
