Job summary

ESG Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET/Azure Developer who currently resides in Connecticut. You will design and develop web-based customer-facing UI, create Power Apps, and implement enhancements/bug fixes for existing .NET applications within an Agile Scrum team.

The role includes requirements analysis, data migration validation, and collaboration with product owners, developers, testers, and data specialists to deliver incremental releases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework for web application development.
• Expertise in developing and executing automated data validation/testing scripts (SQL or other scripting languages).
• Strong grasp of relational databases, data modeling, and data mapping techniques.
• Experience documenting and validating legacy-to-modern data and interface mappings.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing work items, test cases, and defect tracking.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OEC stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
• Translate needs into user stories and maintain a refined Azure DevOps backlog.
• Document current and future state workflows, integration points, and data dependencies.
• Create and validate data mapping documents between legacy and modern systems.
• Develop interface mapping documentation to align legacy screens with modernized components.
• Define and maintain functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements with end-to-end traceability.
• Design, develop, and refactor components using ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and Azure App Service.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization using Azure DevOps.
• Work with Azure SQL databases to design schema and optimize performance.
• Collaborate on SSIS-based ETL processes and data migration activities.
• Participate in code reviews for performance, maintainability, and security.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data validation scripts for migrated data.
