ClearlyAgile, Inc. is seeking a Senior .NET Architect to lead and mentor a diverse dev team on multiple client projects from a Tampa-based home office with optional on-site. The role combines hands-on development with solution architecture and requires strong C#/.NET Core and front-end skills (Angular/React). East Coast hours apply.
You will design scalable SaaS architectures, mentor junior engineers, and participate in architecture reviews while delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
Senior-Level Role with Hands-On Architecture Scope: This is effectively a Senior/Lead Full-Stack Developer position with solution architecture responsibilities. The expectation to design architectures and write production code signals a high-impact, hands-on role — not a siloed tech lead.
Compensation context: No salary is listed, but for a 6+ year .NET/React/Angular stack with architecture duties at a Tampa-based company, the market range is roughly $120,000–$160,000/year. ClearlyAgile describes "very competitive compensation plans," so candidates should benchmark accordingly and negotiate confidently.
Skills this role builds:
Green flags: Unlimited PTO, paid certifications, collaborative culture, and share appreciation rights suggest a company that invests in its people. Being one of the "fastest-growing Agile companies in Tampa Bay" indicates career growth potential.
Watch for: The role mentions working on multiple client projects with varying tech stacks — this is a consultancy model, which means context-switching between projects. If you prefer deep, long-term product ownership, clarify the project tenure and client engagement structure during interviews.
Overall, this is a strong opportunity for a senior developer looking to grow into technical leadership within an Agile-forward consultancy.
Join a team of professionals who are passionate about their work, love cross-training, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. We care about our developers by fostering an environment where they can thrive and providing them the tools and training necessary to get the job done.
You will work on various client-facing and internal-facing projects. Every client has different needs that often require the adoption of new technologies and methods. Job duties include:
We are looking for someone willing to learn and open to new ideas. This position focuses on designing and developing solution architectures for new and existing projects. We are not looking for a diagram- or whiteboard-only architect — expect to get your hands into development working directly alongside the rest of the team. A successful candidate will exhibit:

Is this role fully remote or is office attendance required? The role is primarily remote — you work from your home office. However, a physical office in downtown Tampa is available for those who prefer on-site work. East Coast hours are required regardless of location. What is the minimum experience required for this position? The role requires 6+ years of C# experience including .NET Core, along with strong skills in SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and either Angular or React. A Computer Science degree or equivalent background is expected. Does ClearlyAgile offer visa sponsorship? No. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Subcontracts and visa sponsorship are not available. What does the compensation package include? ClearlyAgile offers competitive compensation along with Unlimited PTO, 10 paid holidays, medical/vision/dental benefits, a 401(k), Share Appreciation Rights, and paid training certifications. Will I be doing architecture work only, or also hands-on development? Both. The role involves designing solution architectures as well as writing code directly alongside the team. ClearlyAgile explicitly states they are not looking for a whiteboard-only architect.
