Job summary

The Florida Department of Financial Services is seeking an Application Systems Programmer II in Tallahassee to design, develop, test, and implement new application systems and enhancements. Qualifications

• Four years of experience in Computer Science or IT field; degree may substitute on a year-for-year basis
• Three years of software development with strong C#, .NET, and MVC fundamentals
• Experience with Web APIs, relational databases, and client-side web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of advanced programming languages and development platforms (Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity standards
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders
