Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a senior developer to deliver high-quality technology solutions across the full software lifecycle. You will lead development in .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Vue.js, and SQL Server, guiding teammates and collaborating with analysts and end users to meet delivery dates.

On-site Monday through Friday in the United States (Siloam Springs, AR area). You will participate in testing, code reviews, and production support, while applying modern development practices and maintaining

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technical areas; equivalent work experience may be acceptable.
• Experience: 4+ years of professional .NET application development and relational database experience, including building and supporting web applications in a team environment; experience with source control, code reviews, and a structured release process is expected.
• Special Skills: Experience having worked in ambiguous environments where you have helped bring clarity and predictability through the use of processes, standards, and governance.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate within complex situations, break them down, and work with others to define the path out.
• Track record of building strong relationships with leadership, peers, and partners in order to collectively deliver on overall organizational strategies.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Computer Skills: Visual Studio, VS Code, .NET programming (C#), ASP.NET Core, ES6/ES7 JavaScript, Vue.js, Vuetify, .NET Web API, Entity Framework, Windows Form applications, report design, relational database design (MS SQL Server), Power App, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines; advanced knowledge of web development technologies.

Responsibilities

• Project and Enhancement Delivery: Execute small-scale projects and enhancement requests from intake through deployment, using Agile and Waterfall project methodology as appropriate to the size of the effort.
• Solutions Development: Develop software across languages and platforms including .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, .NET Web API, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and MS SQL Server.
• Application Quality Assurance: Plan and run unit, integration, and performance tests; build and maintain test cases; conduct code reviews with junior developers.
• Support: Provide day-to-day production support, incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution; on-call rotation.
