Senior NERP Migration and Sustainment SME

Location: Remote

Position Summary:

Redhawk Administrative Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Navy ERP (NERP) Migration and Sustainment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the sustainment, implementation, and migration of NERP functionalities within the Military Sealift Command (MSC). This position requires extensive experience with Navy ERP and SAP systems, including financial, logistics, and workforce management modules. The SME will provide technical advice, integration support, training, business intelligence assistance, and program office support to ensure seamless NERP operations.They will lead a team of NERP analysts and be the primary Navy ERP SAP expert on the program.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

NERP Implementation and Sustainment Support

*Provide technical expertise and recommendations for NERP sustainment, migration, and implementation efforts.

*Support decision-making related to project management, sales and distribution, workforce management, cost controlling, financial accounting, funds management, asset accounting, travel, and inventory management.

*Engage with key stakeholders, including PEO-EIS, ASN FM&C, NAVSUP, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVFAC, and NRL, to ensure effective NERP integration and sustainment strategies.

Business Process Integration and Optimization

*Analyze and recommend improvements for the integration of financial business processes within NERP.

*Provide strategic support for budget formulation, execution, labor management, cost allocation, financial reporting, and financial close-out activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly).

*Ensure NERP integration aligns with MSC's financial and operational requirements.

NERP Training and Change Management

*Develop and deliver NERP training for MSC personnel to enhance system adoption and operational efficiency.

*Support change management initiatives by facilitating the transition to new NERP functionalities and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

*Provide guidance on best practices for NERP transactional workflows.

Business Intelligence and Data Management

*Assist in Business Intelligence (BI) governance, ensuring data integrity and alignment with MSC objectives.

*Provide technical support for BI tools, leveraging financial data warehouse environments and managing data archiving efforts.

*Develop documentation to support ongoing BI initiatives, data validation, and reporting improvements.

Program Office and Tier 2 Support

*Support the MSC ERP Business Office (MEBO) in resolving NERP-related issues, including ticket escalation, testing, user management, requirements definition, and high-level system design.

*Assist in managing data quality, validation, and release management across all NERP modules, including: Asset Management, Business Information Warehouse, Controlling, Financial Accounting, Funds Management, Material Management, Project Systems, Workforce Development, Sales and Distribution, User Management,

Personnel Management

*Supervise and mentor data analysts, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and support to analyze financial data.

*Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including financial analysts, IT personnel, and leadership, to align data management processes with organizational objectives.

*Establish performance metrics for team members, provide regular feedback, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial data reporting.


Education & Experience Requirements:
Education

*Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.

*OR 7+ years of direct experience with Navy ERP or SAP Systems Applications Business Objects Tools in lieu of a degree.

System Experience

*Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with NERP or SAP systems, including financial management, logistics, or workforce management modules.

*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and other data analysis tools

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Applications (word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience

*Documented customer service experience, demonstrating the ability to support stakeholders and resolve ERP-related issues.

*Strong data analysis and management skills with measurable experience in analyzing, processing, and optimizing large datasets.

*Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data reporting and presentations.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
