What You'll Do

The Senior NERC Regulatory Compliance Analyst will oversee NERC compliance activities at NorthStar's gas generation facilities. This role requires expertise in NERC standards applicable to Generator Owners and Operators, focusing on equipment testing, configuration, operations, reliability, system protection, and electrical analyses.

Key responsibilities include implementing compliance policies, supporting testing and maintenance activities, preparing compliance documentation, liaising with regulators, and overseeing assessments and corrective actions related to NERC standards.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience with gas/turbine generators, transformers, substations, and protection systems
  • Knowledge of NERC reliability standards
  • Experience in generation protective relay coordination
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field; extensive industry experience may substitute
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical)
  • 4+ years relevant work experience
Work Conditions

Primarily office-based with site inspections; travel across the U.S. for extended periods; physical ability for site visits and inspections required.
