Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Nondestructive Test (NDT) Technician with UT, ET, or RT expertise to join our Quality Fabrication team in St. Louis, MO.

The role involves performing advanced NDT on aerospace components, using UT, ET, and RT methods, and supporting certification processes under Boeing standards. Applicants must hold ASNT Level III NDT certification and have substantial experience interpreting technical drawings and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal, documented hours of NDT training/experience or military equivalent.
• Currently hold ASNT Level III NDT certification in Ultrasonic (UT), Eddy Current (ET) or Radiography (RT).
• More than 5 years of experience reading, understanding and interpreting engineering technical information (drawings, handbooks, standards).
• More than 5 years of experience interpreting/developing policies, practices, processes, and procedures as they apply to technical documentation to ensure quality product delivery.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Guides the development, implementation, or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques.
• Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.
• Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents.
• Interprets codes, standards and contractual specifications controlling the method used.
• Develops and implements processes for new or revised NDT methods.
