Job summary

Acuren is seeking a UTSW Technician to support a Nuclear outage in New Castle, DE. The role involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using specified methods, evaluating results, and ensuring adherence to ASME and API requirements for continued serviceability.

You will develop inspection techniques for customer approval, document findings in project reports, may supervise others, and interface with clients to resolve schedules and issues while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical background in NDT (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) and procedures with five years experience.
• Current NDT certifications in (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination with safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Identify, track and mitigate risk on client engagements; escalate as needed.
