Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Texas is seeking an NDT Inspector to conduct visual, MT, and UT inspections ensuring compliance with AWS D1.1 and customer specs. This role requires reading blueprints and applying quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

You will train inspectors, maintain documentation, and collaborate with engineers to uphold product reliability. Strong communication and physical stamina are essential for a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Basic knowledge of welding fundamentals.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret codes and standards governing NDT methods used by Sabre facilities.
• Conduct in-process and final visual weld inspections per AWS D1.1.
• Perform MT inspections as a Level II per Sabre requirements.
• Perform UT inspections as a Level II per Sabre requirements.
• Provide training and guidance for I inspectors.
• Verify product conformance to specification.
• Read blueprints and understand manufacturing practices.

Education
