Job summary

Keel is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to perform dye penetrant inspections in accordance with established procedures and codes. The role supports production quality, process reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have Level I/II credentials, experience with USNAVSEA projects, and strong ability to interpret drawings and specifications. A comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• One year as Level I Inspector in the discipline or certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of related experience; engineering degree may substitute.
• ASNT SNT TC 1A Level II certification in VT, MT, PT & UT.
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication and construction techniques.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction (preferred).
• At least 3 years supporting NAVSEA projects (preferred).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform dye penetrant inspections per procedures and standards.
• Inspect products at various production stages for codes and specs.
• Support safety, environmental, and 5S initiatives.
• Interpret drawings and technical documents.
• Record and analyze test data using statistics.
• Generate reports on compliance or deviations.
• Develop and establish NDT techniques and inspection methods as needed.
• Collaborate with management to apply quality standards.
