Job summary

Veridiam LLC is a precision manufacturer specializing in exotic metals for aerospace, defense, medical, nuclear, and space applications. You will perform nondestructive testing (NDT), visual testing (VT), penetrant testing (PT), and ultrasonic immersion testing (UT) with rigorous documentation and test reporting. The role requires a High school diploma or GED and NDT Level II certification in UT/VT/PT.

This 2nd shift position operates 1:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• NDT Level II in UT/VT/PT per SNT-TC-1A/NAS410.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests to inspect tubing materials, thinner welds, surface flaws, corrosion, wall sizing and thicker forms of welding that may harbor deviations from specifications.
• Set up equipment to perform non-destructive testing utilizing ultrasonic testing and/or other nondestructive testing methods on parts, following specified procedures.
• Examine surface and locate discontinuities in product or metal structure.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various materials and products including welds.
• Prepare and generate non-conformance reports in accordance with the Quality Management System specifications.
• Evaluate test and inspection results against designated standards.
