The role requires Level II/III NDT certifications with MT, PT, VT, and a plan to achieve Level III certification within one year, plus travel up to 30% annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with NDT certification or equivalent experience.
• Current or prior Level III in MT, PT, VT per ASNT/NAS NAVSEA standards with minimum 3 years as Level III.
• Ability to pass and maintain Level III certification within 1 year of hire.
• Documented evidence of training, OJT hours, and certification records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nondestructive testing conducted at Electric Boat suppliers and facilities.
• Conduct on-site supplier evaluations and audits; witness re-inspections.
• Monitor supplier NDT program administration and training onboarding.
• Prepare technical reports on findings from oversight and investigations.
• Interact with internal and external program offices and NAVSEA as required.
• Travel approximately 30% of the year.
