Job summary

Tyonek seeks an NDI/NDT QC Inspector Level III to lead NDI activities in GSE maintenance and government contracting. You will provide technical direction, oversee NDI operations, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards across maintenance, modification, and repair tasks.

Responsibilities include establishing NDI procedures, training Level I/II staff, and maintaining auditable certification records. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites may be required to support inspections and audits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or physical science or Navy NDT school graduation required.
• NDT Level II/III certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems desired.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality control and safety plans to ensure contract compliance.
• Inspect all phases of goods/services for conformity to quality standards.
• Maintain NDI procedures and qualification programs (Level I–III).
• Provide technical disposition on NDI findings with appropriate data.
