Job summary

Apogee Engineering, Fort Meade, MD, is seeking a full-time Systems Test Engineer to support USSTRATCOM NC3 Enterprise Center SE&I. The role involves performing vulnerability, analytical, and technical assessments on NC3 systems, executing tests across classified environments (TS/SCI), and conducting root-cause analysis of test failures.

The candidate will develop and leverage test tools (GOTS or COTS), refine video testing solutions, and document results.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant testing & evaluation experience including test plan development and execution.
• Background in root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
• Ability to modify automated test workflows in proprietary tools.
• Familiarity with data collection and analysis methodologies.
• Experience testing hardware and/or software development.
• Developing and documenting test plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability, analytical, and technical assessments on NC3 systems using proprietary software.
• Execute tests to determine network performance, voice/video quality, and backup system effectiveness in TS/SCI environments.
• Conduct RCA for test case failures and leverage test results to improve procedures.
• Develop, leverage, or modify tools (GOTS or COTS) for testing and evaluation.
• Refine video testing solutions, test cases, plans, and data analysis methodologies.
