Job summary

L3Harris Canoga Park is seeking an experienced NC Programmer (Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer) to write and optimize CNC programs for complex aerospace components using Siemens NX12 CAM or Master CAM. You will support first article inspection, fixture design, tool selection, and on-machine verification within a zero-defects environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, or Graduate Degree with 4 years experience, or 10 years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Siemens NX12 or NX1992 NC Programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering models/drawings to define machining sequences.
• Use Vericut and simulations to validate CNC programs and ensure defect-free processes.
• Modify existing programs for engineering changes or improvements.
• Develop, write and maintain type II probe and logic macros for on-machine touch probing.
• Collaborate with machinists, Quality, Engineering and Management.
