Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program is required.
• Masters in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Ocean Engineering preferred.
• Professional engineering registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research and develop structural engineering specifications for naval ship design and operation.
• Assess damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling.
• Utilize tools such as CATIA, IDEAS, and ProEngineer for analysis and design.
