Job summary

Requirements include 10+ years in data science or ML, strong Python, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, ML or software engineering.
• Proven experience deploying ML models in real-world applications.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with NAVWAR or DoD context preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ML models and algorithms for naval applications.
• Deploy algorithms and models into real-world operational environments.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and validation.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and mission stakeholders to align ML solutions with requirements.
• Develop cloud-native ML pipelines using AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement ML solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Contribute to distributed computing and parallel processing to optimize performance.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and DevSecOps workflows.
• Apply cybersecurity principles in ML system design and deployment.
• Provide documentation and engineering artifacts per standards.
• Stay current with ML/datascience advancements relevant to naval/DoD apps.
