Job summary

ICI Services Corporation seeks a Naval Architect III to join our Washington, DC team. The role focuses on engineering support across lifecycle acquisition for UxV platforms, translating requirements into design, and supporting reviews and TRL assessments.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years in Naval Architecture, DoD procedures experience, and some supervisory exposure. Bachelor’s in engineering or naval architecture is required.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 7 years of professional experience in Naval Architecture.
  • Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process).
  • Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; ship building experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and technical support across lifecycle acquisition from early development through fielding.
  • Perform analyses of mission and performance requirements for UxV platforms and translate into design direction, performance, configuration, space and weight, and arrangements.
  • Assist in evaluations and recommendations regarding TRL of overall proposals and integrated systems.
