Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, the physical or social sciences, engineering, economics, or another analytically rigorous field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in national security analysis or mission-focused analytic work.
• Experience leading or substantially contributing to analyses of complex, unstructured problems.
• Experience selecting and applying analytic methods to real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to rigorous, data-driven national security analyses across adversary capabilities, emerging tech, and policy implications.
• Serve as an analytic integrator translating complex evidence into clear sponsor findings.
• Develop innovative analytic approaches for ambiguous problems with defined measures and data needs.
• Incorporate advanced analytic tools including quantitative/qualitative methods, modeling, and wargaming.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate across technical, operational, intelligence, policy, and strategic teams.
