Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS seeks an engineer to lead nacelle design for aircraft components in a full‑time role in the United States. You will design nacelles, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive changes for cost and producibility while ensuring program alignment.

Requirements include a BS in engineering and 3+ years in mechanical design, with CATIA V5/Enovia, Fibersim, CPD and EWIS familiarity. Export control rules apply; U.S. Person status may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3+ years in mechanical systems/design engineering.
• Export control requires U.S. Person or authorization; status proof may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design and document nacelle components and assemblies (thrust reversers, inlets, fan cowls).
• Coordinate with functions to meet standards and program requirements.
• Execute design processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality.
• Perform root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Initiate engineering changes to improve cost, weight, and producibility.
• Prepare for technical/program reviews and communicate with the program manager.
• Develop action plans and participate in design reviews, ensuring compliance.
• Create engineering change packages with def and substantiation.
• Provide inputs to cost-out projects and associated reviews.
