Job summary

Mars Incorporated is looking for a North America Controller who will influence accountability, performance, and controls through the Controllership team and key business partners. You will work closely with Mars Snacking Global to interpret accounting guidelines for a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 10+ years of accounting/audit experience in the consumer products sector, CPA or equivalent certification preferred, and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting or financial audit experience.
• Consumer Product Goods industry experience required.
• Experience leading teams and talent development.
• CPA or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of Accounting & Reporting associates.
• Perform periodic business performance reviews to assess the quality of financial statements.
• Implement new accounting standards or Finance Manual guidelines cross-functionally.
• Ensure governance and controls execution in the region.
• Certification and reporting of financials and controls to Senior Management.
• Collaborate with PwC and Internal Audit for audits.
• Provide insights to improve processes and efficiency.
• Drive performance management between regional teams and MGS-F/ICTC.
• Be a member of the region's Finance Leadership Team.
