Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Sr. Sales Associate who thrives in a music-loving environment to engage customers and drive sales. You will help customers select gear, upsell accessories, and share deep product knowledge to enhance their sound.

You’ll lead by example, mentor teammates, and contribute to store operations, including opening and closing as needed, while maintaining the vibrant, music-forward store vibe.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment where customers explore their musical interests and find gear.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain expert knowledge of gear across guitars, recording equipment, and accessories.
• Build customer relationships and help foster a community presence in the local music scene.
• Keep displays organized, restocked, and the store vibe aligned with the music theme.
• Lead and mentor team members during store operations and opening/closing duties.
