Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Sr. Sales Associate who is passionate about music and sales. You will engage customers, help them select gear, and drive revenue through upselling and exceptional service.

Bring strong product knowledge across guitars and recording gear, plus leadership skills to mentor peers. You will maintain store merchandising, foster community relations, and may handle opening/closing responsibilities as a keyholder.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience with a proven track record.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to drive sales, upsell, and build customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and help them find gear to fit their musical ambitions.
• Hit and exceed sales targets through upselling and cross-selling of instruments and accessories.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of gear, including guitars and recording equipment.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers and the local music community.
• Organize displays and restock shelves to maintain a vibrant store vibe.
• Lead and mentor teammates as a keyholder, including opening/closing duties.
