Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking a high-energy in-store Sales Associate in the New York area to drive personal sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service. The role includes promoting the Music & Arts lesson program, building relationships with teachers and community groups, and supporting store operations.

The position also involves merchandising duties and maintaining store security, with pay of $16.50–$17.50 per hour plus commission, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal goals.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
• Create business by networking with teachers, schools and communities.
• Develop customer relationships and deliver compelling sales presentations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Participate in merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
• Maintain store security and access controls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
