Job summary

Design and Production Incorporated (D&P), operating as Museum Studio, seeks a Senior Business Development Director to build the next generation of landmark museum and cultural projects across the U.S. You will shepherd opportunities from initial conversations through pursuit, proposal, negotiation and award, aligning with Estimating, Project Management and Production teams.

You will report to the VP Business Development & Marketing and work with leadership in Paris and the U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant business development experience in complex project environments.
• Strong relationships within the U.S. museum, design or cultural ecosystem.
• Ability to read architectural and technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build the market and pipeline across museum, cultural, exhibition and experiential sectors.
• Build senior relationships with museum clients, architects, exhibit designers, consultants and industry partners.
• Develop priority accounts and opportunities before formal RFPs hit the market.
• Lead the strategic response to major RFPs, RFQs, tenders and negotiated opportunities.
• Own the pipeline through handover from BD to project delivery.
